Philomena (Sister Louis Marie) Hanrahan

HANRAHAN, Philomena (Sister Louis Marie), passed away peacefully on October 22nd, in the excellent care of her community, the Daughters of Mary and Joseph, at Marian Residence, Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Formerly of Stella Maris, Lartigue Road, Ballybunion, Co. Kerry.

 

Predeceased by her loving parents Patrick and Nora (Foley), and her dear siblings; Breda (Patterson, Carnalway, Kildare and her husband Jack), Michael (Hanrahan, Stella Maris, Ballybunion), Mary (Burke, Golfside, Ballybunion and her husband Des), Peggie (Browne, Fealesbridge, Abbeyfeale and her husband Tom), Don (Hanrahan, Corrig Ave, Dun Laoghaire and his wife Gene) and Kathleen (who died in infancy).

 

She will be deeply missed by her DMJ sisters, many friends, and her loving sister-in-law Hannah Hanrahan (Ballybunion), nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, all of whom were touched by her genuine warmth, wisdom, and gentle spirit.

 

Sr Louis Marie will be remembered at Mass in St John’s Church, Ballybunion at 10am on Friday November 14th.

 

Mass of Christian Burial on Friday November 14th, 11:00am PST (7pm GMT) Mortuary Chapel, Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City, California.
