Phyllis Corley

The death has occurred of Phyllis Corley, (nee King), Cornafaghy, Smithborough, Co. Monaghan and formerly of Moynalty, Co. Cavan who passed away peacefully in Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family, 18th December 2025.

Predeceased by her parents Tomas and Mary King (Moynalty), her brothers Jimmy and Mattie and her sisters Mary (Bennett) and Bridie (Moran).

Phyllis be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband Brendan, her sons Ian (Jenny), Russell (Sandra) and Adrian, her cherished grandchildren Kelvin, Noah, Mila, Neve, Meagan, Ryan and Keeva, her sister Nancy King, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, many friends and by all who knew and loved Phyllis.

Phyllis will be resting at the family home, Cornafaghy, Smithborough, (H18 HR74) on Saturday (20th) and Sunday (21st) from 3pm to 8pm (Please note a shuttle bus will be in operation, wake times only, parking at Magherarney Church) .Removal on Monday morning (22nd) at 10.30am to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Magherarney for 11am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
