The death has occurred of
Phyllis Hand
(née Ivory)
Phyllis passed away suddenly, but peacefully on the 17th April 2026 at Beaumont Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Kevin; loving mother of Derek, Yvonne and Gavin; doting grandmother to Orla, Carl, Callum, Sophia and the late Gareth. She will be very sadly missed by her heartbroken children and their spouses Gillian, Adrienne and Catherine, her nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace
A gathering of Phyllis’ family and friends will take place in the Frank Jennings Funeral Home, Kilbarrack on Tuesday evening (21st April) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.
Phyllis’ Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Donaghmede on Wednesday (22nd April) at 10.00am. She will be laid to rest in Fingal Cemetery thereafter.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Beaumont Hospital for their care and kindness, and a particular thanks to her regular carers, Nicola, Claire and Suzanne, who became great friends, and for whom Phyllis had a deep fondness.
