The death has occurred of
Pierce McNamara
McNAMARA (Shrewsbury Downs, Ballinlough, Cork): On February 28th 2025, peacefully, in the loving care of his family and the staff of St. Luke’s Home, PIERCE (Highfield RFC), dearly loved husband of Mairead (née O’ Connor) and adored dad of Clodagh, Niall, Clair and Paul, brother of Clair (USA) and the late Rosarii, Loretta, Gerard and Declan, brother-in-law of Olive, Eileen, Tom, Kay, Mike, Diarmuid, Joan and the late Rosemary, Nancy and Eddie.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife, children, sons-in-law Frank and Philip, daughters-in-law Claire and Sue, grandchildren Rachel, Sarah, Frank, Henry, Ronan, William, Sonny and Zac, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at his residence in Ballinlough on Tuesday (March 4th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Wednesday (March 5th) in St. Joseph’s SMA Church, Blackrock Road which will be live streamed
Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
