P.J. Grimes

Grimes, P.J (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of Hollymount, Co. Mayo) March 13th., 2026. Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Recently predeceased by his beloved son John. Devoted father of Jackie, Debbie, Edel, Bláthnaid and adored grandfather of Katie, Éabha, Ethan, Lóchán, Cárthach, Emily, Lucas, Suaibhse, Olivia and Hugo. Predeceased by Phyllis, his brother Seamus and his sister Mai.

Sadly missed by his loving daughters, grandchildren, cherished friend Kathleen, sons-in-law Martin, Pádraig and Tony, daughter-in-law Michele, brother Art, sister Ethel, brother-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Ann, nieces, nephews, relatives, carers Norma and Sajil and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his residence on Tuesday evening (March 17th) between 4 pm and 7 pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (March 18th) to the church of St. Thomas the Apostle, Laurel Lodge arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 am followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
