PJ (Pat Joe) Hayes

Hayes, Newmarket and formerly of Lissaclárig, Aughadown, Skibbereen. On September 12th 2024, at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, in the presence of his family, predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy and his cherished granddaughter Hannah, sisters Eily-May, Peggy and Anna and brother Tommy. Deeply mourned by his heartbroken daughter Emer (Cassidy), sons Michael and Kieran, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Clancy and Noelle, adored grandchildren Aidan, Clíona, Dara, Declan, Cillian and Brendan, sisters-in-law Una, Tess and Phil, brothers-in-law Jim, Matt, Michael and Pat, nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends and neighbours.

Reposing at O’Reilly’s Funeral Home, Newmarket on Saturday evening from 6.30pm to 8:30pm, followed by prayers. Reception into St. Mary’s Church on Sunday for 11.30am mass, which will be livestreamed on Newmarket and Taur Parish Facebook page. Funeral afterwards to Clonfert Cemetery.
