The death has occurred of PJ Walkin of Springfield, 16 Amana Estate, Ballina, Co. Mayo after a short illness at Mayo University Hospital surrounded by his family.

PJ predeceased by his adored wife Jean, his parents Paddy and Kitty Walkin and his brothers Tony and John and the deceased Gilmartin family Sligo.

PJ beloved father of Alan, Garrett, and Sinéad.

He will be sadly missed by his sons, daughters, his adored grandchildren Conor, James, Sean, Jean, Evan and Molly, his partner Kathleen, daughter-in-law Jacqui, son-in-law Aidan, Alan’s partner Naz, his sister Maura Gannon, brothers, Gerry, Eamon, Séamus, and Vincent, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and his wide circle of friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Monday 12th of January from 5:00 until 6:30pm.

Funeral will leave his residence to arrive to St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina for Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning 13th of January at 11:30am, followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.
