Prof. Máire Mulcahy

MULCAHY (McCarthy) (Wilton Avenue, Cork): On 28th November 2023, unexpectedly, but peacefully in the presence of her loving family at Cork University Hospital, Professor Máire MULCAHY (née McHenry) (former Vice President of U.C.C. and the Dean of Science Faculty), much loved mother of Marianne and stepmother of Garrett, Darren and Kara, dear sister of Seán and the late Margaret, Patricia, Nan, and Der. Predeceased by her husbands Noel Mulcahy and Brian McCarthy.

 

Sadly missed and fondly remembered by all her family, friends, former work colleagues and all who knew her.

 

Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Friday (December 1st) in the Church of the Holy Spirit Dennehy’s Cross.

Cremation will take place afterwards for family and close friends.
