McCARTHY Professor Eunice (Dept. of Psychology, UCD, also Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin and formerly of Ballyard, Tralee, Co. Kerry) December 30, 2025. Unexpectedly St. Vincent’s Hospital, Elm Park. Beloved wife of the late Des, sister of the late Noreen, Ted, Seán and Éna, sister-in-law of Breda, aunt of Kathryn, Barbara, Eunice, Helen, Valerie, John, Mark, Cliona and Johnny and cousin of Pauline. She will be greatly missed by her loving family, extended family and a wide circle of friends, especially in the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and the Division of Work and Organisational Psychology (DWOP).

Reposing on Sunday afternoon, January 4, from 3pm until 5pm at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, 6 Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road, D04 X446 (opposite UCD Flyover).

Funeral Mass on Monday morning, January 5, at 10am in Church of St. Thérése, Mount Merrion, A94 YW74, followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery.
