Professor John Joseph O'CONNOR
O’CONNOR, Professor John Joseph, Co-inventor of the Oxford Knee. Born Dublin 7 March 1934, died peacefully at St Luke’s Hospital, Oxford on 8th September 2024. Cherished husband of Gemma, father of Simon, Oscar and Emily, and beloved grandfather. Emeritus Fellow of St Peter’s College and Professor of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford.
Funeral service will be held at Oxford Crematorium OX3 9RZ on Tuesday, 1st October, at 2:00pm. No flowers please, but donations welcomed for St Luke’s Hospital and Sobell House Hospice via https://john-o-connor.muchloved.com/
