Queenie Monahan
(née Kelly)
Queenie Monahan, Knockbrack, Athenry, Co Galway and formerly of Cussane Cross, Athenry. Predeceased by her beloved husband Eddie, daughter Bernadette and brother Christy. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughters Marie and Deirdre, cherished granddaughters Ciara and Aoibheann and their dad Noel, brother John Anthony, brother-in-law Mick (Donegal), sisters-in-law Patricia, Della, Gertie, Anne (Texas), Rita and Susan (Boston), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing privately at her home on Sunday May 2nd. Removal on Monday at 12:30pm to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Newcastle for private Requiem Mass at 1:00pm which will be streamed live on the following link https://churchmedia.tv/camera/the-church-of-the-immaculate-conception and on parish radio 106.5 f/m. Burial afterwards in Templemoyle Cemetery.
Those who would wish to attend the funeral but cannot, due to current Covid restrictions, are invited to leave messages of sympathy on the condolence link below which will be greatly appreciated by the family.
