The death has occurred of
RAMONA ARGÜELLES MENÉNDEZ
In memory of Ramona Argüelles Menéndez, of Malahide, Co. Dublin, originally of Gijón, Asturias, Spain, who died peacefully 16th November 2025 at St Francis' Hospice Raheny after a brave five year cancer battle.
Missed and beloved by her husband Andrew Shillito, parents Manolo e Isabel, brother Marcos, her extended family in Spain and Australia, not forgetting nieces Anna (of Clonskeagh), Grace Siobhán (Sydney), and her nephews Austin and Byron (Melbourne).
Que en paz descanse
The family extends gratitude to the staff and volunteers at St. Francis Hospice, the oncology team at the Mater Hospital, and those at Beaumont Hospital who cared for her, also GPs Dr. Molloy and Dr. Isis of Malahide, and the Irish Cancer Society driver service.
Ramona will be brought privately home to Gijón to rest.
She has requested in lieu of flowers donations to St Francis' Hospice.
