McCARTHY (Blarney, Co.Cork & formerly of Ballyduff Lower, Waterford and Ardacluggan, Beara, Co. Cork): On August 22nd, 2025, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family at the Cork University Hospital, RANDAL (former Principal of Ballyduff National School), dearly beloved husband of Eileen, much loved father of Liam, Cormac, Mairéad and Siobhán, dear brother of Jerry, Elizabeth, Joan, Lena and the late Willie, Dan, Mary and Kathleen, adored grandad of Michelle, Ross, Naomi, André and Shane and great-granddaughter Cara.

Deeply mourned by his wife and family, daughter-in-law Carmel, sons-in-law Gerard and Joe, extended family and friends.

Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Sunday (August 24th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 3.00pm on Monday (August 25th) in St. Joseph’s S.M.A Church, Wilton which can be viewed
