Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff af the Galway Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Rita and much loved father of Antoinette and Malcolm. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his daughter and son, sister Livinia, son-in-law Richard, daughter-in-law Anne, granddaughter Shannen and her husband Gary, the extended Ward and O' Halloran family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral arrangements:

Friday 5th December, 2025 - Reposing at the Church of the Holy Family funeral parlour, Mervue, from 5.00 p.m. with Removal to the adjoining Church at 6.30 p.m. The entrance to the Funeral Parlour is through the main Church. Wheelchair and assisted entrances are at the exit door at car park level.

Saturday 6th December, 2025 - Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Raphael at 11.00 a.m. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Bohermore cemetery. Live-stream link for Mass https://www.churchtv.ie/mervue/
