The death has occurred of Raphael Sunday Murphy, 16th April, 2021, late of Cloontakilla, Bangor Erris, Co. Mayo. Raphael sadly passed away in Drogheda, Co. Louth.
Raphael was a loving son, brother and friend. He will be sadly missed by his mother Helen, sister Racheal and brother Marvellous, Tony and Claire Murphy and all their families in Bangor Erris and all the extended family and friends that were part of Raphael’s all too short life.
Raphael has entered the hearts and minds of many people in Mayo and beyond and will forever remain with us in our thoughts, our hearts and prayers.
A private funeral will take place, due to government advice regarding public gatherings. When current circumstances have passed, we look forward to celebrating Raphael’s life with all his friends and family.

Removal from Gilligan’s funeral home, Market Square, Claremorris, on Wednesday 21st, at 12.30pm for funeral Mass at 1pm in St Colman’s Church, Claremorris. Raphael will be laid to rest afterwards in St. Colman’s Cemetery, Claremorris.
Due to the HSE and Government guidelines, the funeral at all stages will be private for family only, house strictly private, please.
