Former member of the Irish Defence Forces, 8th Infantry Battalion.
Chestnut Grove, Bay Estate and formerly Santry, Dublin.
Passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Saturday, 17th January 2026 with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his wife Bernie (née Haughey), and his parents Johnny and Sheila. Beloved and dear dad of Karen and granddad of Conor, Ewan and Finn. Ray will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter, adored grandsons, sister-in-law Lena McLoughlin and her husband Sean, nephews and nieces Aidan, Caitriona, Ciaran, Orla and Sean and their families, his much-loved dog Charlie, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home, Chestnut Grove [A91V2X8] on
Sunday from 3pm to 7pm.
Removal on Monday afternoon at 1.40pm proceeding on foot to the entrance of Chestnut Grove, then driving to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church [A91WY98] arriving for Funeral Mass at 2 o’clock.
Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Dundalk. [A91F598].
