Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital after a short illness. Ray now joins his, mother Elizabeth , father Patrick, Sisters: Sr. Miriam Tracey, Doreen O'Connor, Eithne D'abreo, his brother Aidan and his beautiful grandson Evan.
He will be so sadly missed by his cherished wife Marlyn, his treasured children: Ken (Toronto, Canada), Noelle McCarney, (Sligo) and Ray (Sligo), daughters-in-law: Heather Tracey (Toronto) and Marita Tracey (Sligo) . Son in law ; Henry McCarney. His adored grandchildren: Hayley, Colm, Brogyn, Ronan, Nicole, Ray, Cormac, Mark and Megan. His Sisters-in-law, Brothers-in-law , his many nieces and nephews at home and abroad, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Removal from his home at 1.30pm Thursday to Saint Anne's Church, Sligo, to arrive for Mass of Christian Burial at 2pm. Burial to follow in Sligo Cemetery. Due to the current HSE guidelines on Funeral gatherings, house and church private to family only, please. Ray's family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of Galway University Hospital, Ambulance staff Sligo. Rescue 118, Staff of Sligo University Hospital especially the staff of Medical South, Medical North, CCU , ICU, the Palliative Care Team and his home care team: Sinead, Shona and Toni.
