Raymond Fitzgerald

(formerly Onaght, Inis Mór, Aran Islands and Monkstown Farm, Dún Laoghaire)

Ray passed away peacefully on Sunday 10th November, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Richard and Elizabeth Fitzgerald (Dick and Dompty), and his sister-in-law Geraldine.

Ray will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Pauline, daughters Siobhán and Aoife, son Tadhg, son-in-law Damien and his beloved grandson Cian, sisters Elizabeth and Valerie, brother David, sisters-in-law Maureen, Margaret, and Monica, brothers-in-law Padraic and Mick, nieces, nephews, extended family, the fishing community and his many friends.

The family would like to thank the nurses at University Hospital Galway.

Reposing at Conneely Funeral Directors, Flood Street, Galway, from 11:30am - 1:30pm, Friday 15th November.

Cremation to follow at 4pm with family and close friends at Shannon Crematorium, Co. Clare (V14 PV30).

Faoi bhrón freisin tá a bheirt deirfíre, deartháir amháin, a gclann siúd, gaolta, pobal na n-iascairí agus cairde go leor.

Beifear dhá thórramh Tigh Chonghaola, Sráid Thobar an Iarla, ar an Aoine, 15 Samhain ó 11.30 a.m. go dtí 1.30 i.n. agus ansin tabharfar a chorp chuig Créamatóir na Sionainne áit a mbeidh searmanas lena mhuintir agus a dhlúthchairde ag 4.00 i.n.

Iarrtar ar dhaoine gan bláthanna a bhronnadh ach, más mian leo, síntiús a thabhairt do Chumann an Bhád Tarrthála (RNLI).
