Ray Cranley of Windgates, Greystones and formerly of Ballywaltrim, Bray, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully at home, on Sunday, 1st March, 2026, after a long illness, bravely borne with grace and humour, surrounded by his loving family.
Survived by his wife Jacinta, children Phil, Rob, Lucy and Tim, grandchildren Jack, Mark, Luke, Noah, James, Ava and Zelda, sisters Dolores and Sheila, daughters-in-law Carol, Sarah and Dayanne, nephews, nieces, cousins and all extended family members.
Predeceased by his son Donald, brothers Val, Gay and sister Rita.
Ray will be fondly remembered by so many for the joy he brought through his music and art.
Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Wednesday, 4th March, from 12.00 noon, with a Service to Celebrate Ray’s Life following at 2.00pm in the funeral home, thereafter to Mount Jerome Crematorium.
The family wish to thank the medical professionals who cared for Ray over the last two years, Dr. Barbara Bonar, Dr. Maryse Power and the Wicklow Hospice Palliative Care Team.
