The death has occurred of Raymond Gaughan, East Port, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal and formerly of Byhalla, Attymass, Co. Mayo.
Following a short illness, surrounded by his loving family at Galway university Hospital. (Retired Sergeant 28th Infantry Battalion, Finner Camp) Predeceased by his infant babies Claire & Edward, his parents Anthony & Annie Gaughan. His brothers Jimmy & Sean, nephew Edwin
Survived by his loving wife Fidelma, daughter Emma and son Jason, son in- law Aidan Mc Gonigle and daughter in-law Jenny. Adored by his grandchildren Patrick, Sean & Anna. Brothers and sisters Tony, Mickey, Mary, Anne, Margaret, Patricia & Bernie, nieces, nephews and all his extended family and friends.
Reposing at his daughter's residence no. 25 Assaroe View, Ballyshannon, F94f344 Friday and Saturday from 2pm to 8pm.
Removal on Monday the 1st December from his residence East Port to St. Joseph's Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon for 12 noon funeral mass followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
