Rebecca Anne O'Brien
(née Kingston)

On Wed 16th April 2025, in the kind and exceptional care of the staff of Marymount Hospice, Rebecca (Beckie), (Ballybane, Ballydehob and late of Moynys, Drimoleague), passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Sadly missed by her sons Jerry, Paul and John, daughters-in-law Maria, Katie and Aoife, son-in-law Wilian, niece Marie, nephew Richard, grandchildren Jer, Elizabeth, Rowan, Bláithín, Hugh, Annelise, Colm and Rose, her relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her loving husband Jeremiah, devoted daughter Margaret, granddaughter Cliona, sister Mary, brothers Paul and Finbarr, and parents Paul and Mary Anne (nee O’Mahony).

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her home in Ballybane on Saturday (19th) from 6pm to 8pm for family and neighbours, followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Monday (21st) at 1pm in St. Brigid's Church, Ballydehob followed by burial in Schull Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so wished, to Marymount Hospice.
