Reginald Keating

Reginald Oliver Mary Keating (Youghal, formerly of Dublin)

Reg died peacefully on Saturday April 4th, 2026, age 84, surrounded by family, and in the exceptional care of the Mercy Hospital, Cork.

Reg will be forever loved, by his partner Eithne Pyne, his children, Eoin, Paul, Ciaran, Mick, Elizabeth and Linda, his sister Brid Renshaw, brothers John, Tommy, Mick (predeceased) and Tom Kenny, his grandchildren, Natalie, Samantha, Tommy, Louis, and Joey, great-grandchildren, Elijah and Dakota. Also by Eithne’s family whom he cherished like his own, Norma, Rodney, Olivia, (predeceased), Johnny (predeceased), Daniel, Alex and Ellie. 


He will be remembered fondly by the many friends he made over the years, in both Dublin and Cork, his large extended family, and by the people of Youghal, who welcomed him so warmly into their community.

Reposing at his home on 7 Strand Street, Youghal on Wednesday 8th from 12pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday 9th, at 11.00am in Church of the Holy Family, Youghal, with cremation afterwards at the Island Cremation, Ringaskiddy.
