Ret. Commandant Joseph (Joe) Campbell

Ret. Commandant Joseph (Joe) Campbell, late of Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Leopardstown, Co. Dublin, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, the Irish Defence Forces, Civil Defence and Lansdowne Rugby Club, died peacefully on 12th February, 2023, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Beloved husband of Lindsay, loving father of daughters Heather and Lindsay, sons Colin, Graehame, Adam and Gordon, brother of Patricia and Padraig; Joe will be sadly missed by his wife, children and their mother Desna; stepchildren Candice, Kirsten and Rowena, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother, sister, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, former colleagues, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by his sisters Anne and Mary.

Reposing at his home on Wednesday (15th February) from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Removal from his home on Thursday (16th February) at 1:30 pm for the short journey to Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, Co. Wicklow for a Funeral Service at 2.00pm, to which all are welcome to attend, followed by private cremation. House private on Thursday morning please.
