Rev. Canon Laurence Dunphy
The death has occurred of Rev. Canon Laurence Dunphy in his 90th. year, retired P.P. of Urlingford and Graine Co. Kilkenny in the kind and loving care of staff of the Sacred Heart Nursing Home Crosspatrick. Native of Bunlacken, Cullohill, Co. Laois, previously served in Killasmeestia, Camross, St. John's Kilkenny and Glenmore parishes. Predeceased by his brothers Liam, Jim, Mick, Paddy, John and Kieran, his sisters Sheila, Mary, Kathleen, Nancy and Agnes, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Deeply regretted by his 42 nieces and nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, sisters-in-law Annette, Marette, Breeda and Mary, cousins, extended family his many friends and parishioners and the priests of the diocese of Ossory.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing in St. Patrick's Church, Graine (Eircode E41 wR44) on Wednesday evening February 11th.from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock and the Church of the Assumption, Urlingford on Thursday February 12th. from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock concluding with prayers both evenings. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard.
