Rev. Fr. Benedict Hegarty O.P.
HEGARTY (St. Mary’s Priory, Popes Quay, Cork): On March 19th 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his family and community at CareChoice Montenotte, Rev. Fr. Benedict (Gerard) Hegarty O. P..
Sadly missed by his nieces Claire and Suzanne, nephews-in-law Paul and Denis, grandniece Emma and grandnephews David and Donagh, Dominican Community, relatives and friends.
Reposing in St. Mary’s Church, Popes Quay on Friday 21st March from 4.00pm to 6.00pm followed by evening Vespers.
Requiem Mass at 12 noon, on Saturday 22nd March which will be live streamed
Followed by burial in the Community Plot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Tory Top Road.
