Richard Cashman

On March 8th, 2024, RICHARD passed away peacefully in Cork University Hospital surrounded by his loving family, beloved husband of Teresa and loving father of Sarah (Bignell), Grainne (Crean), Siobhan (Daly), Una (Withers) and Laura (Daly). Deeply missed by his brothers Tom and Jerry Cashman, sons-in-law, his twelve adored grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, his many friends and neighbours.

May he rest in peace.

As a family we would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Joan Lynch (NUA Medical Practice) and to all the team at the Renal Unit in CUH for the exceptional care for the last number of years, especially to Dr. Eva Long and all her team.

Reposing in Coakley’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Sunday March 10th from 3pm to 5pm with vigil prayers at 5pm. Requiem Mass on Monday March 11th at 12 noon in Sacred Heart Church, Durrus (to view livestream click here), followed by burial in the adjoining new cemetery.
