Ashford Co. Wicklow and formerly of Dun Emer, Dublin and Freshford Co. Kilkenny,

Peacefully, just after his 90th birthday, at St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of Dorothy and much loved Dad of Sheila and John. Devoted Grandad to Robert, Peter and Kathryn, Papa to Aoife and Eoin, Great Grandad to Oliver and father-in-law to Bobby and Natasha. Sadly missed by his brothers John Joe and Joseph, sisters Peggy, Caith, Nora, Bernadette and Teresa, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and his wide circle of friends. Pre-deceased by his brothers Tom and Pat, and his sister Mary.

Richard will be reposing at McCrea’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67 E003) on Monday August 18th from 9.30 – 10.30am,

Followed by Private Cremation.
