Richard Daly
DALY, Eyeries Village, Beara and formerly of Kealkill, Co.Cork on the 27th March 2023 peacefully in the care of the staff in Bantry General Hospital surrounded by his loving family, RICHARD. Deeply mourned by his loving wife Virginia (Jenny), children Lorraine, Anthony, Grace and Luke, his sister Bernadette (Maguire) and his adored grandchildren Jamal, Salim and Said, Anthony’s partner Aoife, Luke’s partner Mags and Graces Partner Eoghan. Predeceased by his siblings, John, Billy, Terence, Eamon and Paudie and his sisters Emily, Mary, Veronica and Ellen. Richie will be sadly missed by his cousins, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.
Reposing in Harringtons Funeral Home, Castletownbere on Wednesday (29th) from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem mass will take place on Thursday (30th) at 11am in St.Kentigern’s Church in Eyeries followed by burial in Gortnabulliga Cemetery. Funeral cortège will leave the funeral home at approximately 10.15am where Richie will make his final journey around the pier in Castletownbere before arriving to Eyeries Church.
