Abbott, Richard (Dick), Fortal, Birr, Co. Offaly.
Predeceased by his loving wife Sylvia (Horton) and sister Dorothy (Oakley). Passed away suddenly on 26th May 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

He will be deeply missed by his children John, Gwen, Karen and Hazel, daughter-in-law Sinead, sons-in-law Nigel, Kevin and Darren, his adored grandchildren Diarmuid, Dillon, Christopher, Chloe, Ava, Liam and Emily, his sister Iris (Ralph) and sisters-in-law Betty (Whitten) and Myra (Hayes), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home on Thursday 29th May from 5pm – 7pm. House strictly private at all other times. Removal on Friday to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church of Ireland, Birr at 2pm for Funeral Service. Burial afterwards in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
