Richard (Dick) Cody

The Death has occurred of Richard (Dick) Cody, Carrigcloney, Glenmore, Co. Kilkenny. Dick passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 17th April, in his 92nd year, surrounded by his family and in the comfort of his own home. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, devoted daughter Evette and son-in-law Cyril.

Dick is predeceased by his son Donal, parents, Bridget and Daniel, brothers Fr. Dan and Watt, sisters Peggy and Anna and grandniece Ruth. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Martin, Michéal, and Fr Tom, sister Breda and sister-in-law Noreen. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, many close neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his daughter's home in Carrigcloney, Glenmore (Y34 R710) on Thursday, 18th April, from 4pm concluding at 8pm with prayers.

Funeral to arrive at St James' Church, Glenmore for Requiem Mass at 3pm on Friday, 19th April, followed with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
