Richard (Dick) Cunningham

Cunningham (Dublin 15 and formerly of Emmet Buildings, Watling St., Dublin 8 and Rtd. Irish Defence Forces and UN Peacekeeper) December 26th., 2025 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Sycamore Unit, Connolly Hospital, surrounded by family, Richard (Dick), beloved husband of the late Rita. Predeceased by his son Anthony and grandson Richard; sadly missed by his loving children Marie, Joan, Brian and Brenda, sons-in-law Ken, Eugene, and Stephen, daughter-in-law Sharon, 12, grandchildren and their partners, 11, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews especially Terry, relatives and friends, especially Marie.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his daughter’s residence on Monday evening (December 29th) between 5pm and 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (December 30th) to the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Huntstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in Mulhuddart Cemetery.
