Late of Sweetbriar Lawn, Tramore, Co. Waterford.
Formerly of Waterford City Council and Tramore, Waterford Castle and Faithlegg Golf Clubs.
Richard died peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Mooncoin Nursing Home,
Tuesday the 24th of February 2026
RIP.
Richard will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Ena, his sons John and Tom; his daughter Margaret; his sister Mary; daughters-in-law Mary and Maria; son-in-law Greg; his grandchildren Ian, Gary, Alan, David, Claire, Jean and Rebecca; his great-grandchildren Max, Emmi, Roan, Clara, Olivia, Jonah, Rose and Michael. Richard will be fondly remembered by all his nieces and nephews, his extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours, and many friends.
Predeceased by his first wife Mary O’Rorke
May Richard rest in peace.
Richard’s reposal will take place in Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore X91TW21 on Thursday the 26th of February from 6pm until 8pm.
All are welcome.
Richard’s Requiem Mass will take place on Friday the 27th of February at 10am in The Church of the Holy Cross, Tramore, after which Richard will be laid to rest in St. Declan’s Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend Richard’s Mass online can do so by using the link below.

Richard’s Funeral Cortege will walk from Lodges Corner/Tramore Credit Union at 09:40 am to arrive for his Requiem Mass.
