Richard (Dickie) Anderson

The death has occurred of Richard (Dickie) Anderson, Billistown, Delvin, Co. Westmeath on the 19th December 2025, peacefully in the care of his family and the staff at St. Camillus Nursing Centre, Killucan, after a long illness bourne with great dignity.

Predeceased by his parents Richard and Margaret, brother Georgie and sister Nellie.

Beloved husband of Marie and devoted dad of Veronica, Richard, David and Mary Ellen.

Dickie will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, sister Lizzie (Bell), his 6 grandchildren, son-in-law Jason, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, his niece Jude, extended family, neighbours and his many good friends.

May Dickie's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at St. Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel, Killucan (eircode N91VF51) this Sunday evening from 3pm with prayers at 5pm. Funeral Mass takes place on Monday morning at 10.30am in St. Livinius Church, Killulagh (eircode N91HP66) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
