Peacefully in the company of his loving family, under the kind and compassionate care of the staff at St. Enda's Ward, University Hospital Galway and previously An Teaghlach Uilinn, Moycullen.

 

Forever loved and missed by his beloved wife Lily and children Barbara, Mairead and Martin; adored grandchildren Caoilte, Fionn, Saoirse, Eoin, Shane, Niamh and Kai. Fondly remembered by his sons-in-law Diarmuid and Liam, daughter-in-law Trina, sisters Eithne and Margaret, sister-in-law Mary, niece Elizabeth, nephew MacDara and his wife Deirdre and all his nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home 28 Moyola Park, Newcastle (H91NR F4) from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.

Friday 10 October, 2025

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Richard at Galway Cathedral on arrival at 12 noon.

Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.
