Richard Mc Cafferty

The peaceful death has occurred at Letterkenny university hospital of Richard McCafferty, Glen Road, Glenties and (Formerly Lissacholly Ballyshannon), surrounded by his loving family.

 

Predeceased by his Parents, Dick and Nora and his brothers Micheal (Mary RIP) and Christopher.

 

Dearly loved husband of Margaret and beloved father of Karen (Nicholis) and Alan (Dee) and adoring Grandfather of Fionn, Iarla and Ailidh.

 

Richard will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by Sisters, Mary (Frank RIP), Noreen (Chris RIP) and Deirdre (Michael), His many nieces, nephews, relatives friends, and neighbours.

 

Rest in peace.

 

Resposing at his late residence, Glen Road, Glenties (F94DY28)on Saturday 24th January from 5pm until 9pm and Sunday 25th January from 2pm until 7pm.

 

House private outside these times.

 

Funeral mass at 11:00 am Monday 26th January at St.Connells Church, Glenties with burial afterwards at the local cemetery.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, Doctors and Staff at Letterkenny University Hospital, To Drs Micheal Cooke and Evelyn McManus and their team for their kindness and compassion to Richard throughout his illnesses. His home help and Carers in particular, Rose, Donal Niamh and Emma amongst others and finally Pauline and all the Staff in Glenties Daycare Centre who looked after him so well.
