Richard O'Toole, Bray, Co. Wicklow passed away peacefully after a long illness bravely borne surrounded by his loving family in Kinvara Nursing Home on Tuesday, 19th August 2025. Beloved husband of Mary, dearly loved dad of Raymond, Peter, Stephen, Richard and Leo, will be sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Emma, Muirghen and Paula, grandchildren Christopher, Sean, Raymond, Claire, Richard, Hannah and Andrew, his sister Jenny, brothers Ronnie, John, Bernard and Eamonn, sisters-in-law Deena, Mary, Maureen and Sadie, brothers-in-law John and Charlie, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his sisters, Nuala and Vera, brothers Larry, Arthur and Leo, sisters-in-law Mary, Teasy, Treacy and Angela.

 

The family would like to offer their most sincere thanks to the Management and Staff of Kinvara Nursing Home for the kindness, care and comfort they gave Richard during his illness.

 

Reposing at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray (A98R673) on Thursday, 21st August, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Removal on Friday, 22nd August, at 10.10am (walking weather permitting) to Our Lady Queen of Peace, Church for Funeral Mass at 10.30am followed by Burial in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray.
