The death has occurred of Richard A Harrington (Richie) Balrath, Co. Meath/Killester Dublin.
Harrington (Balrath and formerly of Killester Avenue) - April 25th 2023 (peacefully) at home, Richard, beloved father of Richard Laurence, partner of 30 years to Mary Lyons. Beloved father of Marc, Mary, Catherine and Anna.
Survived by Anne Spillane, and sadly missed by his loving brothers Joseph and Paul, his sisters-in-law Karol, Aveen, and Helena, his brother-in-law Ray Watts, his many nieces Ann, Jean, Susie, Kylah, Sarah and Molly. Also his nephews Damian, Robert, Martin, Stephen and Daniel, his grandchildren Annabelle, Skye, Bonnie, Shona,
Dara, Jude, Jaques, and Neo.
Pre-deceased by his parents Eileen and Joe, his brothers Robert and Derek, his sister Siobhán, and his beloved aunt Eva.
Sadly missed by his large circle of friends in the music industry, and his adopted family and friends in his beloved St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada. And finally his great friends and colleagues in the printing industry.
Reposing this Thursday 27th April 2023 at McEntaggarts Funeral Home Main Street Rathoath from 4.45pm to 6.45pm with removal to the Church of the Assumption Kentstown Co Meath arriving for 7.15pm.
Funeral mass at 11am Friday morning 28th April 2023 in the Church of the Assumption, Kentstown Co Meath
Followed by a Eulogy of Richard's life in Glasnevin Crematorium, Glasnevin Cemetery Dublin 11 at 2.15pm the 28th April 2023
