The death has occurred of
RICHIE HEWITT
Hewitt (South Douglas Road and late of Townsend Place) On January 5th 2026, peacefully surrounded by his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at St. Christopher’s Ward, Marymount, Richie (Home Healthcare Assistant and late of Dunbar Celtic) very beloved husband of Carmel, loving stepfather of Gill and brother of the late Liam, Eddie and Noreen. Sadly missed by his loving family, his twin Tim, sisters Maura, Chrissie, Betty and Rita, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, South Gate Bridge on Thursday (8th) from 5:00pm until 6:00pm. Requiem Mass on Friday (9th) at 1:00pm in St. Finbarrs South Church which may be viewed here(Link Here). Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium which may be viewed at 3:00pm (Link Here).
