Richie Swords

The death has occurred of Richie Swords – Grange South, Ballymahon Road and late of Turin, Mullingar, Co Westmeath – November 23rd, 2025 (unexpectedly but peacefully) in the company of his loving wife and family at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar.

Predeceased by his parents Christopher and Elizabeth and his sister Marie (Geoghegan).

A much loved husband, father and grandad; Richie will be very sadly missed and always lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend Phil, his dear daughter Sharon, son-in-law Peter, his adored grandchildren Ricky and Robyn, Ricky’s partner Avril, brother Peter, sisters Eva, Pauline and Connie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and his many friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home Mullingar (N91 K660) on Wednesday November 26th from 2 pm concluding with Funeral Service at 3.30 pm. A private cremation will take place.
