The death has occurred of Riona Finn Naughton, Skeaghderreen, Ballydavid North, Athenry, Co. Galway. Peacefully at the Galway Hospice on the 21st May, 2022. Riona, beloved wife of John and devoted Mom to JJ. Predeceased by her daughters Tara and Alice and her father Vincent. After a short illness, Riona will be sadly missed by her family, her mother Bridie, sisters Mary, Carmel, Donna and her brothers Uinsinn and Sean, sisters in-law, brothers in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours, a large circle of friends and her work colleagues at Galway Community College.
Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry, on Monday 23rd of May from 6pm to 7:30pm. Arriving for Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in Church of the Assumption, Athenry. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on HTTPS://www.churchmedia.tv/camera/st-marys-parish-1 and can be listened to on Parish Radio 106.5fm. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Athenry. Please note this will be a walk-through viewing with family in attendance. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Galway Hospice(https://galwayhospice.ie/donate/).
