The death has occurred of Rita Barrett (nee Hannah), Church View, Delvin, Co. Westmeath on the 17th April 2026, peacefully in the care of the staff at Portiuncula Nursing Home, Multyfarnham. Predeceased by her husband John-Joe. Rita will be sadly missed by her sons Jimmy and Danny, daughters-in-law Marion and Mary-Kate, grandchildren Mary, Danielle and Val, great-grandchildren, brothers Pat and Tommy, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Rita's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Ennis' Funeral Home, Killucan (Eircode N91 NN12) this Sunday evening from 4.30pm followed by prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning in the Church of the Assumption, Delvin at 11am followed by burial in the local cemetery.
