Behan (née Sarsfield) Rita, 1st December 2025 (Old Mill Court, Clanbrassil Street and formerly St. Teresa’s Gardens, Donore Avenue); peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the kind care of the staff of Private 1, St. James’s Hospital. Loving mam of Alison, adored nanny of Abbie, Sophie and Cian and cherished sister of John, Kathleen, Eileen and Paddy and the late Evelyn and Michael. Predeceased by her parents James and Sheila Sarsfield.

 

Rita will be forever loved and sadly missed by her heartbroken family, son-in-law Andy, brothers-in-law especially Robbie, nieces, nephews, extended family, great neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

 

May her gentle soul rest in peace

 

Funeral Mass on Thursday (4th December) at 10am in Church of St Nicholas of Myra, Francis Street followed by Cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium at 11.30am.
