Rita Bourke
(née Clancy)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Rita Bourke (née Clancy), who passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday 31st January 2026.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom, her brothers Tom, Mike, Paddy and Jim, and her sisters Margaret, Mary and Joanie.
Wonderful and much loved mother of Siobhán, Michael, TJ, Maria and Marguerite. Sadly missed by her loving daughters and sons, sons-in-law Brian, Julian and Paul, daughters-in-law Olivia and Annie, grandchildren Tom, Conor, Síun, Audrey, Tommy, Aisling, Cillian, Michael, James, Ronan, Bláthnaid and Aoibheann, her sister-in-law Mary-Ann, brother-in-law Jimmy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home in Knockcarron (V35 XK50) on Monday 2nd February from 3.00pm to 7.00pm, followed by evening prayers.
Reception into the Church of Christ the King, Galbally (E34 VE28), on Tuesday morning 3rd February for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
