Rita Connolly
(née Hurley)
Connolly (Reenascreena): On March 10th, 2021 peacefully in the exceptional care of the Dr.'s, Nurses and staff of Bushmount Nursing Home, Clonakilty, & previously in the care of Bantry General Hospital, Rita (nee Hurley), beloved wife & best friend of Jerry for 48 years, Maulathanavalla, Reenascreena, Rosscarbery, and late of Killinear, Newestown and mother of Thomas & Josephine, & sister of the late Finny, Donie & Liam.
Deeply regretted by her heartbroken husband and family, daughter-in-law Jean, grandchildren Rachel, Ciara, Dylan, Declan & Lorcan, sister Eileen (Murphy), sisters-in-law Margaret and Hannah, brother-in-law Joe, nephews, nieces, kind neighbours and her many close and dear friends.
May She Rest In Peace.
In accordance with Government & H.S.E. guidelines, Rita's Funeral Mass will take place privately. Please use Condolences link below to offer your sympathies to the Connolly family.
Rita's Funeral cortége will leave Shanahans Funeral Home, Leap on Friday, 12th March at 2pm proceeding to St. Peter's Church, Carrigfadda for Private Requiem Mass at 2.30pm. Funeral immediately afterwards to Rossmore cemetery.
