Rita DERMODY
(née Dooley)
Rita Dermody (née Dooley) of 15 Raheendoran, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on September 17th, 2024, at The Sacred Heart Hospital, Carlow.
Beloved wife of the late Michael (Mixer) and much loved mother of Margaret, Michael, Alan and Philip, adored nanny of Colin, Ryan, Hannah, treasured great-grandmother of Caleb and cherished sister of Tom, Nora and the late Mick, Joe, Jim, Paddy and Kathleen.
She will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchild, son-in-law Eamon, daughters-in-law Anne, Moira and Olivia, brother, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May Rita’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace
Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, on Thursday, September 19th, from 2pm, concluding with Prayers at 8.15pm that evening. Removal on Friday at 10.15am to St. Fintan’s Church, Ballinabranna, (via her residence) arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
