Rita Gerrard (née McDonald), Cluain Dara, Clonard, Wexford and formerly Ballyedmond and Monamolin, Gorey.
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Wicklow Hospice, on 30th January 2026. Beloved wife of the late Sean, dearly loved mother of Paul, Gillian and Suzie, sister of Annette, Pauline, Liam, Michael and Aidan. Rita will be sadly missed by her son, daughters and their partners Barry and Eric, brothers, sisters, granddaughter Emma, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, the Gerrard family, nephews, nieces, her beloved cousins, friends and her faithful companion Alfie.

Reposing at Hammel’s Funeral Home, Kilmuckridge (Y25 C9T3) on Sunday(1st Feb) from 3pm concluding with prayers at 6pm. Removal on Monday at 11.30am to St Moling’s Church, Monamolin arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by interment in Monamolin Cemetery.
Family Flowers only, Donations if desired to Wicklow Hospice. Donation box will be available at the Funeral Home, or alternatively click HERE to donate.
