Rita Gleeson
(née Fitzpatrick)

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the death of Rita Gleeson (nee Fitzpatrick) Killoskehane, Borrisoleigh, Co. Tipperary, and formerly of Ballydaff, Borrisoleigh, April the 9th 2026 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Con, her infant daughter Brigid, her parents John and Mary, brother Fr. John Fitzpatrick (Pallotine Order), her sister SR. Maureen.

Fondly missed by her heartbroken sons, John and Neil, daughters Mary (Bourke) and Majella (O'Brien), grandchildren Gráinne, Conor, Shane, Bryan, Tara, Sineád, Adam, Gavin, Ross and Evan, her brother Michael Fitzpatrick, daughters-in-law Aisling and Christina, sons-in-law Donal and Paul, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing in Kennedy's Funeral Home, Borrisoleigh (E41 VX81) on Saturday from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 11:30 in St. Mary's Church, Drom, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
