Rita (Margaret) Acton (née Moran), Goatstown, Dublin and formerly of Lisgarve, Roscommon. 26th February 2025. Peacefully, in her 98th year, surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the Royal Hospital Donnybrook. Predeceased by her loving husband John.

Rita will be deeply missed by her sons John, Michael, Robert and Joseph, daughters-in-law, Margaret, Mairead, Kate and Melinda, her cherished grandchildren Jane, Dermot, David, Hazel, Louise, Kevin, Peter, Conor, Michelle, Tom, Aisling, Declan, her treasured great-grandchildren, her nieces, nephews, extended family, dear neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Rita will repose at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Goatstown, D14X348 on Friday afternoon 28th February from 2pm to 4pm. Rita’s Funeral will take place on Saturday morning 1st March at 10am in the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
