The death has occurred of
Rita MCCARTHY
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Rita McCarthy (Clare Street, Dublin Road, Limerick and formerly of O'Malley Park, Limerick)
On July 30th 2025, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her loving family.
Very deeply regretted by partner Gerard, daughters Stacey, Sammy Jo, Chantelle, Martina and Elaine, sons Kevin and Gerry, partners Darren and Wayne, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nephews, nieces, other relatives and close friends.
May She Rest in Peace
Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Friday, August 1st, from 12pm to 1.30pm, followed by removal to St. John's Cathedral, Cathedral Place, for Requiem Mass at 2pm, followed by Service in Shannon Crematorium at 4pm.
Rita's family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Ward 8C and the Dialysis Unit of University Hospital Limerick, for their professionalism, guidance and support.
No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to the Dialysis Unit of University Hospital Limerick in Rita's Memory.
