It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Rita McNamara (Nee Kennedy) Kilmurry Court, Garryowen and Lilac Court, Keyes Park, Limerick

On December 24th 2025, peacefully, in University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre deceased by her husband Eddie, grandson Richard (Happy) Kelly.

Sadly missed by her sons Turlough and Brian, daughter Mary, special niece Noreen Kennedy, grandchildren Robert, Edward, Lisa, Evan, Lourda and Jordan, great grandchildren, daughters-in-law Bridie and Mary Imelda, Mary's partner Ger Ryan, nieces, nephews, extended family friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Monday, December 29th, from 5.30pm to 7pm.

Funeral will arrive Tuesday, December 30th, at St. John's Cathedral, Cathedral Place, for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, Funeral afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.

Family Flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St Vincent's Special School, Lisnagry Co Limerick.
